Frequently asked questions
Quick answers for buyers and sellers.
For buyers
What is TeachNest?+
A cozy nest of teaching resources by Filipino educators — worksheets, lesson plans, assessments, and more — where teachers find quality, curriculum-aligned materials made by fellow teachers.
How do I buy a resource?+
Open a resource, click Buy now, and pay with GCash, Maya, or card. Free resources are one click. Everything you get appears in My library to download any time.
What payment methods are supported?+
GCash, Maya, and credit/debit card at checkout.
Can I get a refund?+
All sales are final since resources download instantly, except when a file is corrupt, undeliverable, or materially not as described, or you were charged in error.
How do downloads work?+
Buy once, download any time from My library. Files may carry a small licence stamp with your details — they're for your own classroom use, not for resharing.
For sellers
How do I start selling?+
Click Sell, upload your file, and we auto-fill the title, page count, cover, and a watermarked preview. Set your price and details, then submit for review.
Why is my resource 'in review'?+
Every resource is checked by our team before it goes live — this protects buyers and keeps quality high. It's usually quick.
What can I sell?+
Original resources you created and own — worksheets, lesson plans, flashcards, posters, planners, presentations, printables, and digital PDFs. The instructional content and layout should be your own work.
What can't I sell?+
Anything you don't have the right to sell: official government/DepEd materials (Self-Learning Modules, Teacher's Guides, Learner's Materials, official division/regional exams), textbook scans or pages, and other people's copyrighted worksheets, images, or logos. You also can't resell bundles of third-party stock assets (icons, illustrations, photos, fonts) — design elements must be woven into your own original resource, and you must hold the commercial rights to use them.
How much does it cost to sell, and how do I get paid?+
Listing is free; TeachNest takes a commission on each sale. Earnings are paid out to your GCash, Maya, or bank account, subject to a minimum payout and schedule shown in your dashboard.
What about copyright?+
You must own or have the right to sell everything you upload, and you certify this at publish time. That means it isn't a work-for-hire owned by your school/employer, an official DepEd publication, or someone else's copyrighted content. Infringing content is removed and repeat infringers are suspended.
Which curriculum should I tag?+
Tag MATATAG or the older K–12 framework so teachers can filter to what they actually teach this year.
